West Field is a prettily furnished and versatile room with a double or twin beds and an en suite shower room. It is a double aspect room with views over the garden to the church and towards the rear of the property with Church View, the patio and the gardens.

The picture at the bottom right is a view of West Field, Laxton, (also known as Top Field) taken from the top of the castle mound on May 12th 2007 when the field was planted with the second year crops in the 3 field rotation system. In 2008 this field is in fallow and in autumn 2008 it will be ploughed up to be come the wheat field for 2009 and will be inspected by the Laxton Jury at the end of November.
